During a keynote session of the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2024) , held in Abu Dhabi, from October 14 to 18, 2024, Prof. Kaspar Althoefer from the Queen Mary University of London delivered a talk titled “Translating Nature: Bio-inspired Solutions for Robotic Surgery”. At the center of his presentation was the EndoTheranostics project and, in particular, bio-inspired robots capable of transforming the way to access complex surgical sites while minimizing invasiveness and improving procedural effectiveness.
